- What are the highest paid companies in Atlanta? - Do they allow remote work, either partial or full-time? - If you work for one, do you like it? TC: $170k YOE: 8 Location: Atlanta
Probably Square
👋 We don’t do fully remote, but a couple days a week as needed is kosher. I love it here. Other places to consider are Square, Pandora, Fullstory, Kabbage, MSFT (Alpharetta), and a handful of other startups. MailChimp actually doesn’t pay _that_ well, though their bonuses and benefits are very generous.
Thanks for the great reply. Would you mind sharing your TC and YOE?
I have seen a few with 0-2 yoe getting base salary at 120k range at Opendoor Atlanta. This plus sign on bonus and RSUs or options results in a very high TC. Relying on stocks is a long shot. But if you can stick around, it might be worth it.
Pay here is ok, but the bonuses are what keeps it competitive. The culture here is great also
Agreed, I’m not in eng, but generally the pay at Mailchimp isn’t the best. The profit sharing, 6% match, health coverage and bonuses are generous. On top of that, the biggest draw here is the culture and wlb
I am considering to apply for mail chimp, but saw a lot of negative reviews lately. Is there anything going on?
I’ve been here for a year and love it, the year has been pedal to the metal, and out product orgs could use some work, but other than that nothing noteworthy. In addition to what the person above said, there’s an annual 10% bonus (they made a stretch goal for 15% too this year that’s pretty attainable), and 19% profit sharing that goes into your 401k but the culture and wlb are what guarantee I’ll stay.
You’re probably at one with SF. I’ve seen a couple google openings there from time to time as well as Microsoft but they’ve mostly been sales
