Google, Microsoft and Amazon are all same. Almost same salary, same hikes. What companies to work for so that I can retire very early. Currently SDE2 at Microsoft in India. Ex- Amazon SDE-2. TC: 35lpa fixed take home.

Startups like Rubrik , Nutanix and Uber can pay you more . Have heard upwards of 60L TC in these . BTW 35L Base in Microsoft is very good . What's your YOE ?

They only hire people that meet their bar as a "senior," regardless of experience. The functional min is probably 3 years though, and they prefer 5.
Microsoft and Amazon underpay in India, if you're looking at absolute top of market pay. I moved from one of M/A to Apple. Had counter offers from Uber, Indeed. Each of Apple, Uber, Indeed were paying ~ 55-60 lacs TC, (base ~40 lacs, stocks ~10-15 lacs/year, 15% target bonus). And I'm not even accounting the 5-8 lacs sign on bonus. Not to mention the absolute shit refreshers at Microsoft and Amazon. Target refresh at SDE2 in Uber and Apple are more than target refresh for L64 in Microsoft. Yoe - 6
