Amazon HMs are biggest liars. I don't blame them, it's the culture that promotes this but I would believe a recruiter sometime but never a Amazon HM. They will say anything to bring you on team & then PIP you. Never believe HM for ops load or if they are working on anything cool, look SIM and om.amazon.com
Sorry if you had bad experience with HMs. I am new to Amazon and the reason I joined this team is that I found the work done by this group very impactful. If you want to give Amazon one more chance, happy to talk.
