Hiring Senior Engineers /Architect and staff for Uber Hyderabad, India.
Given the scale Uber is growing we are open for multiple roles such as EM II and Sr. Engineering Manager. This would be the right time to join Uber and be a part of the huge milestone ( IPO). I would be glad to have an exploratory call to brief more on the offer.
Hey OP could you explain what the Hyd Finance Engineering team does ? Do they work on client facing fintech like processing customer payments or do they work on internal tools for the Finance department ?
Finance Engineering is an independent platform, we manage Uber's global revenue platform by building large scale distributed systems using microservices architecture. There are multiple charters under this which includes Fraud, Risk and revenue computation. There are few other charters which recently moved from US to Hyderabad. I will be glad to explain in brief over a call, as some of the stuff are confidential. Answering to your question, No, This team does not build Internal or Client facing tools. This is much more challenging, solving real time problem :)
