Heard that Hubspot is moving away from the holding power model? does anyone has insight on how it is going to look like? What kind of refresher are you looking at when you hit the cliff? TC: 160k
Essentially more standardized refresher amounts based on title and performance rating, instead of punishing folks for growth of unvested RSUs. I’m totally making up the numbers, but it would be something like “a senior swe 1 with a 3 performance rating gets $40-60k, a 4 rating gets $60-80k, etc”
Do you know when the band details will be made public? everyone is talking about the performance culture, hoping the increase performance equates to increase in the salary/rsus
I don’t know if they’ll ever be made public. Even internally, stock comp info is usually only shared with engineering leadership.
What do you mean by power model?

Asians - what are your thoughts on asian female white male ?
Depends on the team and role
Any estimate on how it would be for SSE1 role?
They are not guaranteed and are tied to performance. If you have higher ratings you will get more of your team’s pie. No one but SEM+ know what it’s going to look like moving forward.
