I recently joined Salesforce service cloud as smts (dev profile) and it was a big mistake. Managers here are senseless and expect you to behave like service company employees. Lot of micromanagement, fake sense of urgency is created almost all the time. Most of the old timers work on bug fixing and low quality work. I request everyone not to join Salesforce as its not just the situation of service cloud but most of the teams in Salesforce right now. Not only my manager but senior manager and director are senseless and toxic. They hired lot of people in very short span and things are not good. Beaware of useless folks talking about culture and all just to get referral money. Just a awareness post in case you plan to join this hell. Tc 75 lpa Yoe 7
Isn't MS culture the same in recent times?
My team and quality of work in ms was preety good
I agree completely! Lot of micromanagement is there, and managers have no sense of work, they literally dont know anything technical.
How is ms? Which team you were in, and if they give L62 in 3.5-4 yoe?
pls share split of tc: 75lpa
Sorry to hear that. Why not move teams. Have friends in other teams if you need help
Team change is joke here. They have rule of 1 yr of staying in current team and apply via career portal ( which I assume will be full Loop of interviews) . Oom is not reopened since 1.5 yrs. And currently no openings on internal career portal
Isn't this the industry solutions group?
Dm for servicenow
Then please tell me which are good companies in 2024.. Every big tech employee saying their culture has become worse. Should everyone start joining WITCH then?
Who is the manager?
+1 Same with my friend who joined Salesforce He feels like resigning within a month without any new offer in-hand
Whaaat. Is it that bad?
The manager in US calls late night and asks to share the task in the morning , they have given phone which is more like turning an employee into a slave
Can you explain more. I was planning to join.
leadership has no vision and low quality hiring has happened even at leadership level
