Quora was once glamored with prestige and so much of mit folks worked there. It was the epitome of talents in 2013. Now the only monetizable strategy is via ads and they make less than 25M a year now.. (not profit, but revenue) ScaleAI was once everyone's hot stuff and the density of MIT folks there was very high because the founder himself was 20 years old from MIT. In the end, they all just fight for who looks smarter and developed pompous culture where no one is willing to help anyone There is another electrification company that converts existing cars into EVs. A lot of executives were MIT professors but their stocks crashed 99% from its peak. These MIT folks do not know how to build a great company or a product. They care about the wrong thing - how to make things complicated and look smart. Stanford, Berkeley folks however seem to make better stuff #quora #scale #mit #stanford #berkeley
Seems like someone is butthurt
Bose?
Have to index MIT alum performance against the base rate of startup success, which is very low to begin with no matter what school the founders are from
Also, how many other universities could you even make a blind post like this for
Stanford clearly outperforms compared to say, MIT, Yale, Caltech - at all levels - UG, Masters, PhD. Berkeley also seems to benefit from absorbing bay area culture. But MIT isn't particularly bad compared to ivies or other major tech schools.
Stanford and Berkeley were always the leaders in tech entrepreneurship. MIT is poised to be the leader in the coming biotech revolution with gene editing and CRISPR, though.
There is no biotech revolution. Gene editing is a meme on the level of crypto.
Inventor of CRISPR is jennifer doudna, a prefoessor at Berkeley. MIT has nothing to do with it
Ivy League schools don’t guarantee business success.
Go Bears
Stanford and Berkeley definitely top for entrepreneurship. MIT is amazing though, don’t get it twisted
don’t forget FTX 🤠 going to a good school will guarantee some level of career success but entrepreneurship is a whole other ball game. you need right product, right market, right execution, timing and connections
MIT creates good problem solvers, not leaders.

I thought you were talking about Googler.
Google is surprisingly the opposite. People think they are dumb and have imposter syndrome. And they are willing to help each other to greater extent
Google is from Stanford
