A crash will happen. It is a matter of time
😂 A millennium is a matter of time too. I’m sure you’ll never be wrong.
Good examples. Still 1.7 is very high for that school district. Isn't it?
The interior for the higher selling one is way better than the other. I think that's the reason for price difference
Even if the houses are the same, changing 200k when the price is over a million isn't a crash. That's a negotiation. Changing 500k+ would be a crash. 40% or more, or in that ballpark. It would also have to happen to more than 1 property.
Dude house prices changing within a week or few weeks are nothing. It’s not indicating anything... it could’ve very likely have been the other way around too, just a matter of luck.
The fact that a 1600 sq ft townhouse is fetching $1.4-1.5 million is just laughable to me. Unbelievable what you west coast folks pay for housing. I’ll stay here in NC on my 10.39 acres in my 3800 sq ft 4bed 4bath that I paid half of that for and continue to be as happy as a clam. Going to go piss off my back deck now.
Also unbelievable what west coast companies have to pay for engineers.. it will take amzn hq2 to wake them up.
That’s not a crash
Isn’t there an SF channel for hyper regional stuff like this?
How is this indicative of crash. Bay areas housing market is closely correlated with stock market and that doesn't seem to be slowing down.
Uh, they’re not the same unit. This is essentially an apple and orange comparison. A house that’s near a busy street within the same complex can see 100k drop in price. There can be a ton of reasons for the price difference.
