Just wondering how accurate the numbers I'm seeing on glassdoor for salaries are. For example, I'm looking up "senior product manager" in Amazon SF and I'm getting 150k as base which seems pretty low. Supposedly this is based on 10 salaries and marked as "very high confidence".
Glassdoor numbers don’t mean anything in my experience
Lol
Paysa has pretty decent salary information for non FAANG companies. Glassdoor is seldom accurate
What is Glassdoor? j/k
Not at all. I think they don’t update salaries in like 10 years!!!
Its totally wrong. Glasdoor is shit website. Best resource is levels.fyi and blind
glassdoor seems to trend lower. people theorized it is because it’s not as popular anymore/not enough people enter their salaries these days so the numbers are older.
It's not accurate, use levels.fyi
Thank you. Levels.fyi is geared towards the biggest tech companies while glassdoor has smaller and regional companies as well. My company won't pay what Google or Amazon will.
But you gave amazon as an example 🤔
