Are frontend developer interviews algorithm heavy at FANG or will they be on tech stack a frontend developer would use in a day to day basis such as React, HTML, CSS and Javascript
Facebook might like React. Some teams in Amazon too. Google uses own sh*t so concentrate on JS and basic stuff.
For Microsoft or Amazon it depends on a team. But usually they ask full of LC questions. For Google and Facebook they ask lots of frontend related questions like event emitter, debouncing and throttle implementation etc... But you should prepare some tree or array related problems on LC.
This is wrong, don’t believe this.
Don’t consider an outlier interview to be the norm.
Depends on what FANG. For Google it's mostly algorithms and a round of front end.
