NW required for "fuck you money"
Recently got an offer from Mongo (pending final numbers) and am interested to hear how things are from current/past employees. I am curious about a few things: - career growth outlook - general employee satisfaction - hybrid work policy (how has it been going, any plans to move towards remote-first?) - product quality - engineering standards/practices - annual perf bonus - stock refreshers - other benefits - offer eval (once I get final numbers) It seems like levels fyi doesn’t have the best info for some of the benefits related stuff and the data for the bonuses/refreshers seem to contradict what recruiter told me. Would appreciate any insights! #mongodb @mongodb
Dm for salesforce referral
Overall it's a great place to work from my experience. DM for detail.
Op: What is the location and offer breakdown?
- career growth outlook: in sales, lots of room for growth between promos and moving cross functionally - general employee satisfaction: im fairly new, but people seem happy here - hybrid work policy (how has it been going, any plans to move towards remote-first?): most of the people I work with are in the office one day a week max. They’re not strict on the one day a week in office. I requested to be designated as fully remote, despite living within 20 minutes of an office and they were fine with it. - product quality: love the product though I’m admittedly new to the space and don’t have a ton to compare it to - engineering standards/practices: not able to answer this one for you - annual perf bonus: haven’t been here long enough to say for myself, but people seem to be rewarded well for good performance. Both promos and bonuses - stock refreshers: annual stock refreshers and at promo - other benefits: free food in the office if in NYC or Palo Alto (not sure about outside of US), great health/dental/vision insurance, access to Headspace and Carrot, mental health benefits, 5 months parental leave for both primary and secondary caregivers, gym discounts, free yoga and fitness bootcamp classes in the NYC office, unlimited PTO (and people actually use it), 8 week sabbatical after 10 years - offer eval (once I get final numbers) DM for more details if you want.
Mind if I DM with some questions?
Sure go for it
How was your interview experience??
Pretty good, interviews were definitely more practical and learned a lot about the team and produce area I’d be working on. Seems like a great opportunity assuming the comp is sufficient.
Hi @op- Congratulations on your offer! Can you please elaborate the interview process?
