Interested to know what a typical scrum team size (eng+qa) is at various companies, and whether you find it to be ideal, or too big/small?
Salesforce moved to hybrid model a few years back; 5 to 10 engineers on a team.
How are you finding that team size?
7 total: 5 devs, 2 qa; too big, I’d prefer 3-5
What aspects made it feel too big?
Probably the number of people
When we did Agile training, we were told teams should be small, 5-7 people. We have 5 on our team.
7 plus or minus 2. That is based On scrum. Has to do with Dunbar. Once you get above 9 conversation becomes to complex.

QA? What is this 1997?
Well, that explains the Spotify app.
its better than devs half assing unit tests and writing one automated test to meet requirements. devs writing tests are like devs writing documentation. to op, we had 1 tech manager, 2 frontend, 2 backend, 1 qa, and qa manager would join during grooming
