How can I change into Tech from Consulting?

I have 5+ YOE in Consulting (Deloitte -> EY -> "No name" CPA). I have been doing IT Compliance/IT Risk/IT Audit. My career goal is to enter into Tech. I am aiming for a Program Manager role. I have the impression now that I don't work at a Big4 anymore I am not interesting for the market anymore. (I used to get tons of emails on LinkedIn, now 0 even though my position is "higher". Also, the reason I left EY was because I moved to the US and did not get accepted at EY in the US at that time.) Does anyone have advice on the best strategy to accomplish this change? please help me with: advice thoughts referrals #tech #faang #google #apple #netfilx #meta #facebook #amazon #uber #microsoft #lyft

Big 4 sucks. You are less likely to crack interviews if you work at big 4 man. This do shitty jobs in tech. You are receiving less calls because right now the market is shit. No one's hiring.

Well I still want to try even though my profile is “shitty” according to you. But thank you for the kind feedback, man. I am “less likely” but I cracked all interviews at google for a TPM role last year with good scores. My recruiter got fired, then the next recruiter that took my profile over was laid off as well, which is why I couldn’t get matched to a team. I am very able to crack interviews 😊 My question is more related to how I can achieve the change.

I moved to a start up after working for Indian services companies (Infosys/IBM/...) and from start up to Amazon. I had to downlevel in the job title but earning more as L5 than Architect Associate

Just find positions and try applying. There's no particular skills set that they're looking for

I mean yeah that’s what I was planning on 😂 But It seems like I need to fight cliches that come with my consulting past and the question is how to circumvent that.
