If your team does daily standups, your manager is a micromanager
I am a contractor and I have been handling a whole new project from scratch and I feel like a really deserve a raise for performance an productivity. What’s the best way to ask my employer for the raise?
When is your contract renewal? Indicate that your rates have changed.
January 2nd. I would have to negotiate that with the contracting company tho. I have a strong feeling they already are getting too much from VZ
Didn’t Verizon just announce they are moving all IT projects to Infosys in India?
The only efficient way to get a raise is to get an offer preferably with 2x raise and show your employer the middle finger.
Hahahaha
have a compelling BATNA (aka another offer)
Leaning towards this option
Don't. Try it without another offer first. Best is to bring up promotion and ask for band correction. If that is not possible, talk about the increased contribution you are now making and how you'd appreciate if the company recognises this effort. When you bring in another company into the conversation, you start being viewed as someone who has a foot out of the door.
