How come TC of Coinbase and Robinhood has stock value when it is not public?
Coinbase's IC5 is RSU $106k / year, and Robinhood's L3 is $203k. But they are not public yet. How can there be a known value for the RSU -- is that an estimate? #swe #rsu #tc

They have private funding. Typically the valuation from the previous funding round is used.
It is based on current valuation and how many stocks they offer you.
