You could go to Intel careers and apply
Take a class in archaeology.

Who are you related to and how?
Have a pulse. That's pretty much it.
6 years ago I ran over a guy with my longboard on my way to an Intel recruiting event on campus. Talked with him for 30 minutes about longboarding/snowboarding and college life in general. Told him I had to go to a recruiting event and he told me he was actually the guy running it. Asked for me resume and the next day I got an interview that was really just a get to know ya. Day after that I got an offer.
Today you hope you fell before meeting this guy I guess
Honestly, no. Not that anyone really cares but I get amazing WLB and live in the same state as my family, friends, and girlfriend. I got two promos way faster than I should have and am in the highest paid CS job code. My current and past work have given me experience ranging from AI to hardware and instruction level optimizations, while building networks in Big Tech since I’m customer facing. I’ve gotten offers from Google/Meta and turned them down because adjusted for COL I’d be making less and have to restart my social life in cities where the archetypical person is someone I can’t stand listening to. Maybe when the social capital I’ve built within Intel stops paying dividends and my experience catches up with my comp I’ll consider cashing in my connections, but for now I’m happy.
