How do googlers get funding for startups? Also why does google not sue them? Amazon has an archaic invention policy but that aside googlers can get funding with just an idea. If your app is a bit past idea and has 22k sign ups already where do I find money to quit Amazon

You either self fund or get out there and hustle to find some VC and hope that you still own the company in a year or two.

How does Databricks and Character.AI allowed though. You’re telling me the devs quit and next day had code up and running from scratch. No they had deals and prototypes at the ready. Amazon has no incubator unless maybe you’re SVP or something already.
Lmao what. Most people work on building the company part-time on nights and weekends while they have a full-time job. By the time they get funding, they’ve almost certainly already quit and decided to pursue the company full time. No serious VC is going to want to fund a company where the founder has another full time job.
