How do people become M1 at Facebook?
Is this a Product Manager role or an Engineering Manager role? Would the interview involve LeetCode?

I assume since you’re tagged as Eng that you’re an engineer. There’s an engineering manager role at various levels including level M1 (equivalent to IC6 / “level 6”) where you would have engineers as reports. There’s also a product manager manager (PM manager) role at level m1 where product managers report to you. It’s a little confusing because “product managers” do not manage people.

It's a manager role. Be level 6 and have people report to you.
