How do you find a Data Science or ML mentor?

I’ve read many times about the benefits of a mentor, but I haven’t had much luck finding one. Do you all have recommendations for finding a DS/ML mentor? I currently work as a Business Analyst using mostly SQL and Tableau. I study python after work on DataCamp. Long term I’d like to become a machine learning engineer.
