How do you justify using things like uber/lyft, ubereats/caviar/doordash?
Why not just take the bus or go pick it up yourself/cook your own food?

Yeah yeah. Time is money. Hence get food from outside and in the meantime make more money coz you will need it to pay for doctors later on...
There are cases where you need to take taxi instead of public transportation. Uber/lyft is simply cheaper than taxi.

I cook quite often, but I'm actually increasing take out since it's cheaper than going to the same restaurant usually. Uber is great since you don't even need to own a car.
I don't. Uber/lyft are almost never necessary unless you live in the sticks, and I'd rather cook than get food delivered
Convenience makes me happy, no reason to justify that.
