One point of time we all have to go back to where we belong to. One way or other way. Some people needs to go for their parents or visa issues or misc reasons. Do you have plans to goback ?what are your plans after going back ? Are we in our comfort Zones that we cant live in our home country?
Go back for their parents? Why? Don't you all have retirement and nursing homes back in your country?
Those aren't really a thing in developing countries
There are quite a few now in Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad which is where a lot of us from India come from. For a lot of us from developing countries there is the guilt associated with watching your parents waste away without being there to care for them. My neighbor here in the Peninsula (white American) got Alzheimer’s. His son took 2 years out of his life to stay with him and care for him. I thought it was beautiful. Sad I can’t do the same for my parents in a far away land.

My understanding of the Holocaust was incorrect!
I’m going back home in 7 years. Technically I can go right now but I want my net worth to increase to a couple million. My family has 3 houses back home so I don’t need to buy a home. Going to open 3 small businesses and live off that cash flow. Fortunately my country is economically stable as well. It’s not perfect but it’s a stable environment good for families and cheap as hell COL. It’s a shit show in San Francisco quite literally. Shit all over the streets and increasing crime, homelessness, traffic, prices. Not to mention it’s a complete sausage fest. I can’t believe I was raised here smh
What country are you from?
Far away. I was born there but raised here, I visited frequently when I was younger. I wish I could say but I am 1 of 2 of my race at my company.
