Is it the amount you make in one year before taxes? Base + Bonus + RSUs (however many vest in a single year)? Where is the joining bonus taken into account?
It’s the one you get with Taxes, including base bonus and RSU vested/year.
To add, I think it should be somewhat of an average. I find people in Blind add all their sign on for their first year and call that their TC, then their subsequent years they are way lower than their first year.

Wow, someone with a crystal ball.
Not sure if a great troll or plain idiot. Well done sir
offer tc: base + bonus + signon cash /4 + sign on rsu (valued at grant price)/4 current tc: base + bonus + full rsu grant for the year (valued at grant price) If you are changing jobs, you would use the market price (and not grant price) for rsu calculation and conparison.

Clever
To compare offers, I take the base + annual bonus + RSU per year + refresher per year + joining bonus for the first four (or three) years and then divide by four (or three) so I get the average comp per year. This helps adjust for relatively small or large joining bonuses as well as vesting schedules differences for refreshers.
