How does Amazon Referral Program work?
What exactly happens when someone refers you internally with your resume? Does it help if it's a Sr. title refers you? Is there anything else that can be done to better my chances to get Product interview with Amazon?

It doesn’t matter who refers you unless it’s someone who’s really high up on the chain then it might make a slight difference. On the flip side that might create higher expectations for the referred candidate. From what I understand referring simply helps your application skip the automated resume screen, nothing beyond that.
