How does Facebook select which 6 friends to display on a user’s profile?

Just curious. Anyone here from FB works on that? Surely someone must know.

I think it's mix of multiple things - activity rate - mutual friends - photo tags - recently added - recently or most visiting/visited (stocked) - location Off course all these data points will be considered along side of staleness to make it fresh. Or it might just by using Rand function Who knows🤷‍♂️
