How does LinkedIn treat under performers?

As you all know, Amazon has a terrifying ‘pip’ system that kicks tail performer every half year after the review. What does linkedin do? Do they do annual layoff, or similar to ‘pip’?

They promote you so that they can make the product more kludgy than it already is.

Can attest that this is true.

I’m sorry but Amazon’s PIP is not terrifying. They give you every last opportunity to improve your performance and defend your past. Whereas most companies just terminate your employment and call it RIF.

Nice bait

Everyone thinks like that and a person who got PIP has problems until it comes to them and affect many.

Play good office politics, know how to manage upward and kiss your boss” ass, no body cares how much you perform

LinkedIn does pip under performers, but there is no rule like bottom x% are put in pip every year. The manager can invoke a pip if the employee is under performing consistently despite feedback for a reasonable time period.

No stack ranking if that is what you are asking. SR is usually a sign of a company with relatively lower compensation or long hours needed to be put in.
