As you all know, Amazon has a terrifying ‘pip’ system that kicks tail performer every half year after the review. What does linkedin do? Do they do annual layoff, or similar to ‘pip’?

Play good office politics, know how to manage upward and kiss your boss” ass, no body cares how much you perform
LinkedIn does pip under performers, but there is no rule like bottom x% are put in pip every year. The manager can invoke a pip if the employee is under performing consistently despite feedback for a reasonable time period.
