I recently got an offer from a company who’s HQ is in London. They offered me RSU’s but how does that work when the company is not even listed in US? The company is listed in London Stock Exchange.
Depends on laws in both US, UK and tax treaty between them.
I am in India and get ESPP/RSU for US company. In my case, I am not required to pay any taxes to US. However, US withholds the tax on dividend income (not capital gains though) and I have to claim foreign tax credit in India under tax treaty between India and US.
You sell them on LSE instead.
Do I have to pay taxes in UK as well?
