PM is irrelevant role and will die in next 2-3 years.
I currently work fully remote and it’s nice because it allows me to work when I’m feeling good and motivated and when I start to lose attention I can make lunch and such. Some days I put in 6 hours and clock out early but other days I work 10-11 hours a day all day with few breaks. Mostly just when I’m pumping stuff out. Looking at engineering roles at T-mobile in Bellevue. I’ve heard that T-mobile is strict about 3 days a week in office. Is this company wide? Is it manager specific? Can you do 2 days? If I wanted to work from home for a week or go visit family would they let me just work remote for that week? How about the time when people show up at office? Is it a strict start time or just show up before you have meetings for the day and put in your 8 hours? Do people work exactly 8/8.5 hours every day? Or do they allow you to check out early when you’re done with work for the day?
It’s pretty lax in Atlanta office
As a salaried employee I work anywhere from 6 to 9 hours a day. Depends on work load. For in office there is a big push for 3 days in office. There are rumors about lists on attendance but unconfirmed. I would expect 3 days of you came to TMO.
Is this in Bellevue?
I am not. But my Bellevue teammates work similar hours. A lot of them base their hours on commute time. Again. That will vary by manager and responsibilities.
7-10 hours everyday. Timings are driven by meetings. Most meetings are in the am starting at 7 am pacific time. Most of my team are in Frisco and Atlanta. My day mostly ends at 4. Three days at office. I get to select the days in office though. And some days I leave very early and continue working from home if required.
Depends on manager and leadership teams.
Just scan the badge on your way in. Don't scan on way out. So I dont think they track how kany hours worked in office. Requirement is 3 days a week. I usually go for 2-3 hours 3 times a week.
Some teams work far more than 8 hours. Start time is more complicated, if the team has people in different time zones. Pressure on RTO can change over time, depending what mood leadership is in. For Bellevue, will be hard to find parking, if you come too late. Yes there is reporting on Badge swipes to track RTO. You can ask during interviews. Office buildings are nice but sound insulation sucks.
Salaried employees are being pushed for 3 days/week in office. Checking out early is common in my team if you don't have any more meetings. People continue working from home. Bellevue is pushy for 3 days in office.
It's very org dependent. Much of my team goes in 2 times a week and rarely for a full 8 hours a day. It's common to come in after 9 AM and leave around 4, but then finish up your work at home. There are some orgs that people just straight up don't go in.
"finish up your work at home" losers
What?
Is there still free lunch at Tmobile bellevue office?
I think it depends on your manager for the three days in the office. For work hours, NO they dont work 8 hours a day. Some days yes but not everyday!.
So some managers allow 2 days? That’s pretty nice of them. How about when you get into the office? My current role is remote so I don’t hop on until 9 or 10 and some days I’ll work until 7 or 8 PM and then other days I’ll only do 5-6 hours if I wrap up everything quick and hop off around 3PM
