Hey everyone, I’m a junior in college at a target cs school with one software internship and am doing a tech consulting internship with a big 4 consulting firm summer 2022. Since graduation isn’t that far off i’m starting to think about where I want to end up for my first full time. A lot of friends and family are in portland so I’m starting to think thats where I want to end up. I’m really into sports and played basketball at a pretty high level through high school so it’s always been a huge dream of mine to work at nike. Tech Consulting might not be as technical as I thought so I’ve begun to make a list of target companies I’d want to work for near portland and nike is at the top. Based on my credentials how difficult would landing an entry level swe position at nike? If anybody has any advice for this please lmk! #Nike #swe #portland
It’s luck. Just apply. I applied to Nike and didn’t get a response with 3 years of amazon on my resume. I know some friends who never worked in big tech who got offers so all luck
It’s not that hard, it’s Nike, not a tech company. I breezed through the interview without even a day of prep. I wasn’t going to take their offer anyway but thought it would be good practice.
