I started as a fresher and initial CTC was 2.5 and then below is the progression Year 1-3 : 2.5 to 4.3 LPA Year 3-5 : 4.3 to 9 LPA (first Switch) Year 5-6 : 9 to 12 LPA (Second Switch) Year 6-7: 12 to 18 LPA ( third Switch) Year 7-8: 18 to 22 LPA (fourth Switch) Year 8-9: 22 to 26 LPA (fifth Switch) Year 9-10: 26 to 32 LPA (Sixth Switch) Year 10-12: 32 to 36 LPA (Seventh Switch) Year 12-13: 36 to 47 LPA (eight Switch) Year 13-14: 47 to 53 LPA (Ninth Switch) Year 14- now: 53 to 69 LPA ( 10th Switch) Companies involved are all service based TCS, Deloitte, IBM, UHG and last one is manufacturing company with IT division. Total 14.5 years experience till now. Started own company in 11th year and did body shopping of resources for two years and gained good contracts and connections. Year 13th started delivering whole projects apart from working in regular company as the incorporated company is on family member's name so I was able to do both. Now the company is churning out 50 lakhs as profit per month and few VCs are offering 2m$ in cash for buyout. I don't want to sell it and has a dream of bringing it to IPO in four years. Should I give it to VCs or keep it running till IPO?
OP, what's your designation in current company ? are you a manager or involved technically ?
