Given that NVIDIA is too high at the moment? Should I load some AMD stock to catch the AI wave ?
lol it’s at all time high, if you have 10K to invest do 2K on NVDA, 4K on INTC and 4K on QCOM
The only nice thing about AMD’s graphics cards is they support thunderbolt 2.1, that generally why people are getting them at the moment, otherwise we can’t pump 240hz on 8K resolution on any NVidia graphics cards AMD is useless for AI applications without any heavy re work
Companies who don't want to be stuck in NVDA proprietary stack, or can't wait for the long leadtime, would shift to AMD AI chip. It's not the best, but it's the only alternative.
Dude, we use cuda because it’s easier to work with, and opencl has a horrible performance. The reason we are stuck with cuda is precisely AMD! If you really want a good alternative look at Google’s TPUs
Amd is useless, it’s just at an all time high due to limited stock of nvidia
