How is Amazon NYC?
I have an offer for AWS in NYC. Does anyone here work there or work with teams there? I'm deciding between FB in MPK and AWS in NYC. Leaning toward AWS simply because of NYC.
I love it here in NYC!! There is no campus and lots of Amazon buildings throughout the city, so that's something to consider. I'd recommend visiting NYC if you've never been since I've seen it eat people alive. I also can't believe it, but NYC is actually cheaper than the Bay Area these days, so the lower comp may not be too bad based on cost of living.
What team are you on?
any of u guys have information about good and bad teams to work for in Amazon New York? I have an opportunity to meet with Amazon Live or Amazon Registry. Can't find any information about them

Take NYC if you’re under 30/single. Bay Area is a shithole surrounded by world class nature
Agreed. I'll be taking a pay hit by not going to FB but I'd rather be happy with slightly less comp
