You can't have WLB in any team in Amazon. If you need to have WLB then you will be facing performance issues because of stack ranking comparison with your peers who won't bother about WLB and work for 24/7. If you are not concerned about WLB, then you will be burned out within 2 years provided you survive all pips.

I had checked out a few teams in payments platform. High ops load, horrible wlb, work seemed a bit interesting. I think razorpay should give similar tc, better culture and better work if you want to work on payments tech.

Tbh both are shit, but since you are joining as L4 it doesn't matters much. Just put your head down, focus on deliveries and GTFO of the team once promoted.
Don't join as sde1 at 1.5 yoe You will regret as promo will be atleast 1.5 to 2 years away. Will you be willing to grind till then, while your batch mates get promoted within few months of your joining? Flipkart to Amazon sde1 isn't much of an upgrade and neither is your TC seeing any big jump Also payments org doesn't have good reviews generally about work with lot of legacy tech. But ultimately it depends on which team you land in within it
