How is Cloudflare to work for?

Cloudflare has couple of niche roles I’M interested. Doing research indicates that Their stock has done really well in past 5 years, however they didn’t return a profit. Wondering how their org culture is and also their pay package are when compared with other BigTech companies. TC: 275K YoE: 25 Industry:Cyber #cybersecurity #interview #security

Largely comes down to the team you’re on.

Sales is a shit show run by morons. Hoping the new CRO cleans it up fast.

Unrelated, but this is funny as hell, https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=40067068

It's not unrelated. Company culture is trash and the fish rots from the head. Prince is a raging twat.

[Lol]

Culture and morale is pretty bad. Basic Benefits like health insurance are absolutely terrible. No 401k match. Poor raises, poor refreshers. People get silently ushered out for no reason

I worry about your stock analysis techniques.

True, that is the reason I use investment advisory firm

I interviewed for a GTM role last fall there and made it all the way through just before the VP-level interview outside of the department you're interviewing for -- that's also required of all candidates. Everyone was professional in the interviews but the internal recruiter was not transparent in giving any feedback after any of the interviews (I did nine in all). The process dragged on and felt like I had to constantly prod for any updates/next steps -- I was interviewing with Zscaler at the same time and, well, you can see where I took an offer from. That said, several of my co-workers at ZS came from Cloudflare and they universally said I made the better choice going to ZS. And this was no arrogant "we're better than them" type of vibe: they frankly just stated they didn't like working there much. From a comp standpoint, what others have said is true: once you're in the door raises, if available, are paltry as are RSU refreshers, so if you do decide to go there, negotiate your initial comp package as aggressively as you can.
