Several DE Shaw recruiters have hit me up recently. I said no because the roles were vanilla web devs. But at the same time, i'm a bit curious. How well do they pay ? How is the engineering culture ? Interesting problems to solve ?
Interviewed with their security group. They were pretty new at the time but have a bunch of smart people. One of the only financial firms that values engineers over econ guys when it comes to their investment engine
How does tc compare with FANG?
if it’s vanilla web dev I wouldn’t expect much
That's why I'm asking if they have any interesting stuff to work on or is it just web dev all the way
