How is Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for WLB and growth?

I’ve heard that it is: 1. Worse WLB than the rest of Google but many teams are still better than AWS and Azure. And since there are no PIPs, after 1 year you can simply transfer until you find a team with good WLB. 2. Great for high impact projects and promos. I’ve heard that since the rest of Google is more mature, there are less high impact opportunities, but since GCP is younger and playing catch-up, there’s many more promo opportunities than the rest of Google. These 2 qualities make GCP sound like a great choice for me, as someone who wants long term WLB and growth (maybe even at the cost of short term downleveling). #google #gcp TC: $205k
