Worth “billions and billions” [less than in 2014]
I appreciate the honesty
I’m sorry but this is plain wrong. The true answer is that the average Palantir employee simply does not know how much the company is worth. It’s been 2.5 years since the last investment round and those valuations are super artificial anyway. What I do know is that revenue is going up and profitability seems to be close.
Even I wanna know. Are they just as smug and under-paying as before?
Nobody talks about them in the tech world it seems.
Even if all of CIA and Pentagon budget for analysis went to Palantir, it’d still be hard to justify for that valuation. Just too niche a market if you ask em.
Nypd uses them, I’m sure others do and don’t forget private financial institutions. That said I have zero interest in them.
Palantirs business is data integration and enabling humans to easily interact with that data. So any large institution could benefit from this, that's why the number of industries Palantir is in is actually very broad. Airbus, Merk, Chrysler are just some of the public clients so there is definitely potential for expansion there
Well we are working on this right now. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-raytheon-pentagon/raytheon-palantir-win-876-million-u-s-defense-contract-pentagon-idUSKCN1GL2HR And there are several comparable sized contracts on commercial side right now.

Still in government surveillance business, a trillion dollar market...
Meh
This is supposed to be a platform for anonymous employees to actually provide answers. Regular Internet conspiracy theory trolling is just not valuable. You don’t need to like Palantir but do know that the company has nothing to do with “surveillance”. It never had.
