I'm expecting an offer soon. I like the team and manager and feel excited about the job. but I'm concerned about Reddit's future. They're in the ads business and we know that ads are hurting. Reddit is hiring like crazy, but so was Meta as recently as August and we all saw how that went. Reddit is private and totally opaque. Anybody on the inside at Reddit, do you feel safe? What's the plan? TY. TC: 600 originally, 490 at current stock price
I suspect it’s plagued by bots making it look more popular than it is. But let us know what you find out.
Propaganda outlet. It’s gone to shit since Arron Schwartz.
How did you manage to spell both his first and last names incorrectly?
OP, did you end up accepting? I’m in a similar position?
Still waiting for actual offer with numbers, going to have a hard talk and push them on profitability, will update if anything real comes out of that convo
Given how the job market looks like right now you can push as much as you want they aren't going to budge. We don't disclose profitability numbers so I am not sure what you are expecting to get out of the Convo. Finally we are not hiring like crazy nor did we the past 2 years and we manage our costs pretty carefully.
