Just got hit by recruiter? Is there gonna be a nice bump ? TC : 220K
Just make sure you adjust for cost of living when you're comparing TC
Just got hit by a recruiter for a Data Engineering role. How is the TC, WLB expectation for a mid/senior position? Currently making $240k at Meta Seattle and working on a promo that might bring me close to $270k+ by next year. Wondering if it’s worthwhile to prep and interview with SIG or not. Motivation is primarily to get layoff immunity as Meta is still not out of the woods yet.
Yeah, that looks inline. Guessing you're willing to move.
YOE?
What group? SIG is one of the best training grounds for traders.
What’s the salary range for DE? I don’t think tc (base + bonus) can reach 200k but pls correct me if I’m wrong

Rahul Gandhi is poison but the people who believe in him are a lot worse
It depends what you are applying for and where you are located. Buying power in PA is much stronger then in Seattle for example. I joined SIG recently and am pretty happy for now, especially with my WLB and TC.
I knew someone with Amazon tag will respond.. Thanks mate .. How is the probability of TC bump? Talked with a guy and really liked him .. BTW my current place isn’t that bad either .. so the pull force has to be really worthwhile
I cannot tell you about TC bump, but your salary will be all cash. The offer very much depends on your experience and your interview performance. If you get into a Sr. SDE pos you might be able to get lower Amazon Principal level salary before the stock drop. With that I don’t mean the salaries from the short time period where some companies were offering 500k for SDE2 pos.
