Just curious to know how Microsoft acquisition affected LinkedIn salary/culture/benefits. Please share your thoughts and experience
Not much changed so far. Probably on the longer term things will converge, but the intention is to remain an independent entity.

As of today yes.
This year budget was decided by linkedin but from next year allocation will come from ms. I am sure things will change just for sake of economics.

I am surprised LinkedIn doesn't have a tracking stock. After emc acquired VMware, my understanding is employee retention and motivation degraded to the point the tracking stick was necessary. And of course it continued after the dell acquisition as a real stock.

Depends on what offers you have got? I will rate fang better at this point from just technical growth leaving aside other stuff
I think LinkedIn is a great place. Worse case you will gain skills and cred that will set you up for fang I just noticed you are at sales force. That's a great place too. I assume you are getting a bump in comp?
FWIW I got recently hired and the LI comp/benefits/culture stayed exactly the same from what I hear from people here. Employees are one of the happiest I’ve seen in the valley for past decade. TC: 430k

I heard nothing changed after takeover and LinkedIn is staying independent subsidiary. Only change is RSUs, you get MS stock instead of LinkedIn stock. Even transfer between two are considered external and you need to go through full interview process as any external candidate would.
Even within Microsoft you go through full interview lop for a change.
