Hello Everyone, I received an offer with PwC as a Senior salesforce QTC technical associate in the US and would like to hear from the insiders about working culture, work life balance, career improvement looks like at PwC Then: when I posted this post, I was told the reviews are good and they would like to move forward however they are discussing on what role and salary I should be offered Now: I got an update that team is happy with the interview results and base salary : 110/115 k However HR was so adamant on the call not on the negotiation part but on the way he communicates and he can't send me offer letter he is afraid I would shop around. Such a worst HR I have ever come across. Now I don't really want to get in to PwC. Thank you everyone for your comments
Depends on How old are you and which group in PwC?
Also, it varies a lot between different countries
Depend on team? Which group?
Same as other big4, senior associate will be mostly execution based role with some bd work occasionally. Other than than that same low pay + crazy work hours. Career growth depends on how much visibility your project has, and landing such project depends on your repo with the partner or managing director. Too many variables.
Thank you.
It’s just kind of meh, like most people take the role cos of the company reputation. Don’t think anyone loves it there except maybe the partners. Also you’re gonna be underpaid for your time with no OT. But it looks good on your resume if you can stay there for a few years
I agree with this. I would probably not recommend my friends to join PwC to stay for long.
Thank you.
I love working for PwC but yeah the compensation isn’t the best, will be a great stepping stone for something better. And I’m definitely learning a lot.. it looks great in your resume!
