How is remote job scene in India
Returning to India after 10 years in US and would love to live in a tier 3 city near my parents. How is remote job scene for a JS full stack engineer.
Struggle is real, there are companies hiring for remote roles, but some of them are remote for a reason (literally can't afford office space) and others are very selective , I have been thru. complete loops successfully (3-4 companies ) and they had multiple candidates to do the same. They hired the one with less LPA. I'm just making you aware, I see situation is changing though. Please prepare yourself well. And be patient . India has huge workforce and most are family oriented ppl (remote lovers) definitely that gives companies a big talent pool to choose from.
Bad now but possible in startups
That's a commendable move. How did you mentally prepare for it? Have any kids?
