Is the machine learning stack AWS sells to customers the marker leader in the field? How does it compare with GCP and Azure alternatives? And how does it fit in with other enterprise AI platforms like C3/DataRobot - are they competitors or complementary? Also, working there - if the outlook is positive, is therefore a solid place to learn the cutting edge of enterprise AI? And can you still learn this stuff as a data scientist in proserve, not just working on the products? #machinelearning #datascience
Working on a product will get you deep into a particular discipline, NLP, computer vision etc. being an SA or pro serve will give you broad understanding of each.

AWS Sagemaker is the state of the art platform for most enterprises. Not absolute monopoly, but a clear market leader. Depending on the team, it’s also a great place to work. Having a sagemaker team on your CV will definitely give you ML cred.
