Got a reach out from a sourcing recruiter recently for a DFIR position at Splunk. Currently not enjoying the DFIR work at Amazon, probably because Amazon is not a security company or a tech company overall. How's the culture at Splunk? Does leadership at Splunk like to get in the way of our work as much as they do at Amazon? Is micromanaged by upper leadership like we are? Is the work exciting? As in, you actually get to do DFIR and not waste 6 hours a day typing emails to leaders and making time for DFIR after you get off work? Speaking of getting off work, how are the hours? I do like the fact that they're full remote. #cybersecurity #security #interview #splunk

I'm curious what you mean by micromanaged by leadership? I'm looking to do an internal transfer to amazon security. Is this to be avoided?
