The end of Backdoor Roth?!
Analyst: Base 95k-110k Bonus 50k-100k, Senior Analyst: 100k-130k Bonus 50k-100k, Associate 120k-175k Bonus 50k-150k, VP: 150k-200k Bonus 75k-175k. All depending on desk and economic cycle. In a bad market all the bonus numbers could be lower. No more prop trading, less lucrative sales & trading.
Thanks you.Is this is in trading ,finance or technology ? Also how much is the average hike every year ?
Sales and trading as well as the IB. Maybe strats too. Technology pays less across the board unless you’re working on systematic strategies. The rule in finance is you get paid if you’re responsible for capital and take risk. Average hike is maybe 10%. The trajectory is different. Early pay grades don’t make as much as they do in tech, but MDs, portfolio managers and above make much more.
