I know it will vary with team. But want a general idea. I am habitual of working lengthy hours. Approximately how many hours a day does a mid level engineer work to "meet expectations"? In the name of Amazon wlb people scare the shit out but never experienced the reality so asking.
I heard it’ hydra - bad
Lol. I was thinking that in the world there is a balance. AMZN employees work hard and SAP employees chill most of the time. SAP is full of benefits if you have family and kids. WLB is top. But, yes, products and solutions can’t keep you excited at work. In US People work a lot which is not the case in headquarters. Office gets empty at 5 PM. Working until 6 or beyond means something is really serious. Lol
What is good WLB by Indian standards? FYI working 8 hours a day with no weekend work is regarded as good WLB in the US. Anything beyond that means manager is going to give you extra hours off to compensate.
Not as good as Amazon Banglore
Thanks. Just trying to understand more. How bad is it at Hyd? like 16 hours daily? Why do you feel relatively Blr has better wlb?
Are you not exaggerating? You have only 8 hrs for non office related activities, if I am doing the Math right.
