Thoughts on long term growth potential, job security, leadership, work culture etc? Any concerns on the tech stack, product demand etc? If you got a 20-30% bump in salary, would you consider leaving Google for ServiceNow? @servicenow #servicenow #dataanalytics
Analytics is considered tech.. as long as you code
Tech refers to SWE....analytics is more business/customer/product/marketing analytics. Sure, everyone does some basic coding today. But SWEs and Data analytics/science are separate job functions and have different salary bands
Yeah but it’s easier to get to a higher level in analytics so in practice TC could be similar
TC? Title? Yoe?
My Q is about long term sustainable growth and competitive advantage of Servicenow - how is the company for long term growth, how do their products stack up against competition, leadership and work culture etc....How would you rate it. I am too early to have any firm TC etc but wondering about the company's long term viability and moat. Thoughts?
Servicenow is a pretty decent place to work. One can learn transferable skills in Analytics teams. The team does impactful work that has good visibility at the C-suite level. We have some leaders in Analytics that joined from Meta, Apple, Bain, Salesforce and Intuit. DM if you would like to chat more
