I work at intel. 2 months paid leave kicks and there’s no requirement like “you have to work here a full year” before you get paternity leave What are the policies and paternity leave like at @amazon @godaddy @msft Etc? Specifically those ones because I have onsites there but more are welcome to post
1 year at amazon I believe. 6 weeks 1 year at ms. 12 weeks - ok based on comments below no wait. A friend said he had to wait but mb he got something wrong
Yeah, because you never know when your babymomma is gonna drop one 😂😂😂
Read your company policy.
Ive read my company policy. I’m asking about other companies.
Microsoft has no work requirement. Guy that started with me had a kid the week after NEO. He took parental leave immediately. We get 12 weeks
Cool thx for info
GoDaddy is day 1, 12 weeks. Also unlimited PTO and most teams are very flexible work from home/flex schedule.
Thx for info very good to know :)
Microsoft policy is crazy good. If you had a baby recently before joining then you still would qualify to take parental leave. I had someone on my team take parental leave upon joining when their baby was already 6 months old.
Forgot to mention this. It’s immediate even if your child was born up to 1 year ago.
Do fathers and mothers get equal parental leave?
Not always. Sometimes there is a blanket “parental leave” and also a “pregnancy” or “birth mother” leave
