Depends on time of day. No traffic? 15 minutes door to door. Traffic? Easily up to an hour. I live less than 10 miles away. It’s ridiculous.

My commute from San Jose to Sunnyvale takes on average about 45 minutes. And it's a shitty 45 minutes. I think the stop and go traffic is what makes it terrible, not the length of time itself.
Don't like to live too close to work. Like that separation of home and work life. Lol
By an hour of driving each way? You can have separation 5 minutes away too
I never stated my time. I'm usually no more than thirty minutes. There's not enough calm for me only five minutes away. I like things quieter.
