How long does a transaction on Coinbase typically take
Seems that it takes more than 10 days from the time you place order to the time you actually receive the coin in your account, how come it’s so slow? Also depositing money in US dollar account also seems to take more than 10 days, what the hell...
It rashes 7-8 days for me but the price gets locked when you order it. Impossible to day trade. CB is a marketplace and not an exchange. Use GDAX for faster and cheaper transaction
This is incorrect. Buying and selling is instant once the money is in coinbase. It’s only the wiretransfer that’s delayed. You can also use a card to buy instantly and pay a small fee. Still not recommended for being an exchange.
I just performed a sell to test. It was instant.
Gdax is CB’s Trader oriented exchange. Faster and more full featured. Cheaper too.

Sending money out of Gdax is free but w/o fee takes hours. Simple enough to flip from coinbase too.
Initiate a money wire from your bank account to your Coin base or GDAX USD wallet. Much higher limit and the money will be available for trading within a day
Right now it might be delayed due to Christmas. Otherwise it takes 3-5 business days
