Yes what to do? Sell house and make another base?
Form a new country
I got H1B in 2006 , i140 in 2012 .. May be another 3 years of wait ..
If you were born in India or China, you’ll be waiting a LOT more than 3 years for a 2012 I-140. Unless you’re EB-1.
is there a way to get into EB1 without the 1 year out of country thing? there are ~20,000 EB1 pending this year, how can there be so many applicants?
Curious too - there are too many PhDs I guess ?
This isn’t too useful because it doesn’t include all approved I-140 petitions. For example, in the India and China tables, they don’t show data for the past few years under EB-2 and EB-3.
Its 485 data, not 140. Last few years were empty cause no one with those priority dates filed 485 yet.
Edit: This was supposed to be a reply to GE. Right, I can see that. How does this help in answering the question in OP? Also, I’m curious - why doesn’t the government reveal the number of approved I-140 petitions per country of chargeability? Can a FOIA request be filed for this?
My bad, its supposed to be part of EB1 numbers above that.
What do we do with so much uncertainty?
You can always return to your country of origin.
